[KEY/REMOTE] Ranger Key programming

Note : Tow or more programmed keys necessary. Complete each step within 30 seconds of previous step.

1. Obtain all keys to be programmed.
2. Using programmed key 1, proceed as follows :
• Inser key into ignition switch for at least 1 second.
• Remove key.
• Repeat following procedure 5 times : Insert key into ignition switch for a maximum of 1 second, then remove it.
• Ensure immobilizer waning lamp illuminates on last insert.
• Remove key.
3. Using programmed key 2, preceed as follows :
• Turn ignition switch ON.
• Ensure immobilizer warning lamp remains illuminated for approx. 2 seconds.
• Switch ignition OFF.
• Remove key.
4. Using new key preceed as follows :
• Trun ignition switch ON.
• Ensure immobilizer warning lamp remains illuminated for approx. 2 seconds.
• Switch ignition OFF.
• Remove key.

If required repeat procedure to program additional keys.
To exit programming mode : Wait 30 seconds.

Note : A maximum of 8 keys can be programmed. Keys can also be programmed using diagnostic equipment.
