ADDITIONAL WIRELESS DOOR LOCK TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING

NOTE :


  • When entering the transmitter-programming mode, all transmitters (maximum of three), which will be required to operate the system, will have to be programmed at the same time. The unit has been designed this way for the security of the user, so that if a transmitter is lost, it will be erased from the memory when programming the existing transmitters.

With at least on functional transmitter.
  • Remove the key from ignition and ensure a door is open.
  • Lock the doors using the transmitter.
  • Unlock the doors using the transmitter.
  • Within 20 sec of unlocking, insert the key into the ignition switch, turn the ignition key from OFF to ON 20 times, leaving the key in the OFF position after the 20 turn.
  • NOTE : Taking longer than 20 sec will not allow programming mode entry.
  • The vehicle's indicators will flash 20 times to indicate successful entry.
  • On the 20 flash of the indicators, press the button once on each transmitter.
  • Once finished, turn the ignition key to the ON position to save the transmitter information and exit from the programming mode.

If no functional transmitter are available.
  • Ensure vehicle audio PIN number is known or audio PIN security system is deactived prior to the battery disconnection.
  • Ensure a door is open.
  • Disconnect the negative(-) battery cable, wait minimum 5 sec, then reconnect.
  • NOTE : If the system begins to sound, complete the MANUAL OVERRIDE procedure.
  • Within 20 sec of reconnecting the battery cable, insert the key into ignition then turn the key from OFF to ON 20 times, leaving the key in the OFF position after the 20 turn.
  • NOTE : Taking longer than 20 sec will not allow programming mode entry.
  • The vehicle's indicators will flash 20 times to indicate successful entry.
  • After the 20 flash of the indicators, press the button once on each transmitter.
  • Once finished, turn the ignition key to the ON position to save the transmitter information and exit from the programming mode.

Manual override
  • If the alarm system is armed but the wireless door lock transmitter is lost or inoperable, the alarm may be manually overriden. Note that during this procedure the alarm will sound. Ignore this and continue with the procedure.
  • Unlock the driver's door using the ignition key.
  • Using the ignition key, quickly turn the ignition switch from ACC to ON position 10 times. Leave the ignition OFF after the 10 turn and wait for the horn to stop sounding. If the system fails to override after horn stops, re-cycle the ignition 10 times then wait for the horn to stop.
Horn chirp

Note : The default setting for the Horn chirp feature is ON. When programmed ON, the system will emit one chirp when the alarm system is disarmed.
  • Arm and then disarm the alarm system.
  • Within 20 sec, turn the ignition switch from ACC to ON 6 times. Leave the ignition switch in the OFF after 6 turn.
  • Press the button on the wireless door lock transmitter. The indicator lamps will flash 6 times to confirm the selection has been changed.
  • Check that the correct selection has been made.
Auto arming

Note : The default setting for Auto arming is OFF. When programmed ON, the system will automatically arm itself 20 sec after ignition switch has been turned OFF and the last door has been closed. The doors will not lock automatically.
  • Arm and then disarm the alarm system.
  • Within 20 sec, turn the ignition switch from ACC to ON 8 times. Leave the ignition switch in the OFF after 8 turn.
  • Press the button on the wireless door lock transmitter. The indicator lamps will flash 8 times to confirm the selection has been changed
  • Test the selection by starting and stopping the engine, then open and close a door(Ensure both doors are closed). Wait for 30 sec. If the system arms itself them the selection is ON.
